Volunteer Form

Our community needs you – Volunteers are awesome!  Please consider signing up to help out with many of the volunteer positions that help keep Riverbend at Lake Lure a safe and wonderful place to live.

Description of Committees

Grievance Committee – Required by the NC Community Act. This non-board committee hears grievances from property owners concerning citations and fines. After hearing grievances they make recommendations to the board for appropriate actions based on their findings.

Architectural Control Committee – Ensures that architectural guidelines and requirements are being followed on new construction, additions, and renovations within Riverbend. Monitors construction to make sure that the work is in compliance.

Infrastructure Committee – Works with the board, the maintenance personnel and contractors to identify infrastructure deficiencies along our roads and culverts.

Security Committee – works throughout the community performing various tasks to ensure that community rules are being followed. This committee is responsible for road signs, gate security, monitoring parking around the lake area, etc.

Governance & Beautification Committee – Is responsible for the beautiful appearance of our common grounds and entryways with their many projects from painting to planting flowers.

Social Committee – Is responsible for planning social events.  We’ve had several including music concerts and pot luck dinners.  This is a great way to meet other property owners.

Other –  Please feel free to add any special talents or skills you are willing to offer to your community.
